Who we are

OUR MISSION

We’re Anglican, we’re catholic, we’re enriching the Church in Wales

We are a group of individuals, lay and ordained, from across the Diocese of Llandaff. Each of us is active and present in our own community of Faith, but we work together to offer mutual support and encouragement, crossing boundaries, building bridges.

We provide opportunities for mission and ministry, organise events for spiritual growth, proclaiming the good news of Jesus within the catholic tradition of the Church in Wales.

Whilst active in our own communities, we know the importance of working together, and how we can enrich each other’s lives with a common mission and ministry, and so revitalise the church.

We recognise, too, that the church suffers its own wounds and divisions. Part of our work is to embrace change and difference, seek reconciliation and unity, and walk gently with the difficulties we and others carry. We believe that, through doing this, the common life and witness of the Church can be strengthened.

We are more enthused by what we can do together rather than what we can’t do. Whilst acknowledging difference, we want to create a community that acknowledges wounds but trusts in the healing power of Christ.

Soul of Christ, sanctify me.
Body of Christ, save me.
Blood of Christ, inebriate me.
Water from the side of Christ, wash me.
Passion of Christ, strengthen me.
O Good Jesus, hear me.
Within your wounds hide me.
Permit me not to be separated from you.
From the wicked foe, defend me.
At the hour of my death, call me
and bid me come to you
That with your saints I may praise you
For ever and ever. Amen.
